What did you want to be when you were a little girl?
I always wanted to be a lawyer until high school, when I had a passion to work in the fashion industry.
What are some different jobs you’ve had in your life?
I worked as a Marketing Director in the spa industry for 10 years. Then in 2009, I began freelance writing, ghostwriting, blogging, and consulting in social media strategies.
What do you work toward in your spare time?
I love giving back – being involved in my local parish and giving back is important to me.
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
What are you most proud of?
Organizing the very first Vogue Fashion’s Night Out in Miami, Florida.
What are you known for?
My roasted potatoes and Cuban/Puerto Rican cuisine.
What inspires you?
Tell me something about you that most people don’t know.
I am afraid of bodies of water.
Why did you apply to be an O Mag Insider?
I believe in everything that O Magazine and Oprah as a human stand for. I can honestly say that it’s the only magazine that I can relate my life to. It is truly made for the everyday woman.
How do you live your best life?
Laughing, creating moments, and paying it forward.
What are you reading now?
Almost done reading The Sun Does Shine, by Anthony Ray Hinton.
What’s a day in your life like?
Early morning start at 6am, work out with my hubby, and head to the office. Then I head home to prepare dinner and end the day driving my son around to soccer practice or volunteering as a Catechist at my parish.
