Age: 45 (allegedly)
Occupation: Mama. Wife. Daughter. O Mag Insider. WW Leader. Too many other jobs to mention.
What did you want to be when you were a little girl?
Actress, specifically sitcoms and film, and of course theater, commercials, voice over.
What are some different jobs you’ve had in your life?
SO many. One of the oddest ones was selling Stringers “shoelaces that don’t tie” out of a kiosk at Horton Plaza in San Diego. My favorite job ever was being a server at Dick’s Last Resort in San Diego. The staff was talented, hysterical, and some of the best people you would ever want to work with; plus, we got to be rude to customers on a daily basis (#dreamjob). It was like doing improv every shift.
What do you work toward in your spare time?
A better everything.
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Night owl for sure.
What are you most proud of?
What are you known for?
Hmmmmm, I’m not sure, but when I see people IRL they typically tell me that my food looks delicious, and they love my lip-syncing videos. I’d also say my sense of humor probably sticks with people.
What inspires you?
People who do amazing things by helping and inspiring others.
Tell me something about you that most people don’t know.
I’ve had a lot of loss in my life and it’s shaped the person I am today, both in bad and good ways.
Why did you apply to be an O Mag Insider?
I love sharing new concepts and products with people and felt it would be life-changing opportunity. I also knew being part of a community would be an inspiration, and it sure delivers in that department. I mostly work from home and the four walls can be quite isolating, but being a part of this group allows me to feel connected across the country to amazing people.
How do you live your best life?
One day at a time. Choosing to be positive over negative (most of the time). Using my sense of humor to get me through the crap days. I also try to inspire others to lead healthier lives, both physically and mentally.
What are you reading now?
Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls (and Everything in Between) by Lauren Graham
What’s a day in the life of Stephanie Graney like?
A little different every day, routine is not my favorite. I guess it looks like this: Work. Take the girls to school. Eat. Work. Run. Eat. Work. Cook. Eat. Work. Pick up the girls from school. Eat. Look over schoolwork. Run errands. Work. Help my parents. Shop. Work. Cook. Eat. Maybe drink a glass of wine or champagne, and perhaps catch an episode of something on TV. Eat. Read. Sleep. Repeat.
